Privacy Policy

of Thespeech Zártkörűen Működő Részvénytársaság a limited liability company incorporated and registered in Hungary under registration number 13-10-041851 whose registered office is at 2049 Diósd, Vadvirág utca 6. Hungary, Tax No. 25579028 (hereinafter: “TheSpeech”) is the controller of personal data regarding the web-based platform operated by us and the TheSpeech Application.

The term "us" or "we" refers to the data controller, a private limited company, founded in the Hungary.

1. 1. Personal data we process
   1. 1.1. Customers or any third party acting on behalf
      • Name, place and date of birth, email address, ID/Passport number, place of residence; mother`s maiden name, tax number;
      • telephone number; and
      • payment details.
   2. 1.2. Interpreters
      • Name, place and date of birth, email address, ID/Passport number, place of residence; mother`s maiden name, tax number;
      • certificate of good conduct or equivalent;
      • documents regarding skills and qualifications; and
      • payment details.
   3. 1.3. Users
      • Name, email address, location data.
2. 2. Purposes of the processing
   1. 2.1. We collect and process personal data for the purpose of streaming various events in various languages through the web-based platform and the TheSpeech Application operated by us safe and on high level.
   2. 2.2. We use information we collect, like your email address, to interact with you directly. For example we may send you a notification: (i)about the acceptance of your registration, (ii) in case of the Customers to provide us the documents for the identification. Or we may let you know about upcoming changes or improvements to our services. And if you contact us, we’ll keep a record of your request in order to help solve any issues you might be facing.
   3. 2.3. We use information to help improve the safety and reliability of our services. This includes detecting, preventing, and responding to fraud, abuse, security risks, and technical issues that could harm you, our service, our company, or the public.
3. 3. Legal basis
   1. The legal basis of the data process is the explicit consent of the parties. This consent can be withdrawn at any time by sending an email to the support@thespeech.app.
4. 4. Recipients
   1. 4.1. Only the Interpreter`s personal datawill be forwarded to the Customers but only after the given Interpreter provided its offer.
   2. 4.2. The personal data of the Customers and the Users won`t be forwarded to anyone.
5. 5. Security and access
   1. 5.1. The authorized employees of TheSpeech has access to the personal data and they may access the data only for the purpose of resolving issues associated with the use of the services (including any disputes arising from the breach of this Agreement).
   2. 5.2. Besides the employees any third party contractors (“Third Party Contractors”) of the TheSpeech who are contributing in the fulfillment of the service have access to the personal data. The Third Party Contractors shall be considered as processors who process personal data on behalf of the controller. Such processors do not make any decision individually regarding the personal data, they are only entitled to act pursuant to the contract executed between the processors and the controller and the instructions received from the controller.
   3. 5.3. The Customer has access to the personal data of the Interpreters only for the purpose of determining whether the Customer accept any Interpreters` offer or not.
6. 6. Managing Your Personal Information With Us
   1. 6.1. Accessing or Rectifying Your Personal Data
      1. If you have a registered account, we provide you with tools and account settings to access, correct, delete, or modify the personal data you provided to us and associated with your account.
   2. 6.2. Deletion
      1. You shall have the right to obtain from us the erasure of personal data concerning you without undue delay and the controller shall have the obligation to erase personal data without undue delay where one of the following grounds applies:
         • the personal data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed;
         • you withdraw consent on which the processing is based and there is no other legal ground for the processing;
         • the data subject objects to the processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing,
         • the personal data have been unlawfully processed,
         • the personal data have to be erased for compliance with a legal obligation in Union or Member State law to which the controller is subject,
         • the personal data have been collected in relation to the offer of information society services.
   3. 6.3. Object, Restrict, or Withdraw Consent
      1. When you are logged into your account, you can manage your privacy settings and other account features at any time.
   4. 6.4. Portability
      1. You shall have the right to receive the personal data concerning you, which you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit those data to another controller without hindrance from the controller to which the personal data have been provided.
7. 7. Duration of the data process
   1. We shall process your personal data until your account is active.
8. 8. Amendments
   1. We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. When we change the policy in a material way, a notice will be posted in our application and / or on our website along with the updated Privacy Policy.
9. 9. Dispute resolution
   1. If you have any questions or concerns about our Privacy Policy or data processing or you would like to make a complaint about a possible breach of local privacy laws, please contact us via email.
